The mixer uses several barrels, so it mixes different colors in parallel without cross-contamination or color variation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Weighing.<\/strong> The mixed fine and coarse granules are weighed to the tile design so every tile carries the same density and weight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Charging the mold.<\/strong> The metered material is spread into the mold and leveled with a knife \u2014 colored granules first, then the black base layer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vulcanizing (3\u20138 minutes).<\/strong> A non-stick cloth is laid over the filled mold, which then closes between the heated platens.
