In 2025, one client from New Zealand ordered a double hook wire drawing machine for waste tire recycling. This New Zealand customer has long been engaged in waste tire recycling and reuse operations. Due to stringent local environmental protection requirements, the government encourages enterprises to adopt mechanized equipment to replace manual tire bead wire removal, thereby improving efficiency and reducing pollution. After evaluating multiple equipment suppliers, the customer ultimately chose to partner with Shuliy Machinery.
Equipment selection and features
The customer procured a Dual-Hook Tire Wire Extractor (18.5kW) designed to process truck tires ranging from 900–1200mm in diameter, achieving an output of 40–50 tires per hour. Featuring a hydraulic drive system, the machine simultaneously extracts steel wires from both sides of the tire. Its robust construction and safe operation make it particularly suitable for medium-sized tire recycling plants in New Zealand.
